A traffic accident can change a life forever. In just a fraction of a second, your whole world can spin out of control. Whether it's your life or the life of a stranger, a friend or a loved one, there is no going back. Nothing will ever be the same again and all the tears and regrets in the world will make no difference. There are no second chances. An accident changes everything.

Le pouvoir de tout changer (“The Power to Change Everything,” available in French only) looks at the reality of 16-and 17-year-olds and the dangers of impaired driving, driver fatigue, speed, distractions and not wearing seat belts. Le pouvoir de tout changer includes a docufiction and a facilitator’s guide on one of the most troubling realities of modern society: the fact that traffic accidents are the leading cause of death among young people aged 16 to 24, along with suicide.

The docufiction serves as a tool to spark peer discussion and targets Secondary V students. It can be viewed in a classroom setting, but can also be shown at youth centres, to sports teams and youth groups, or in any other context where young people are gathered together.
